Building on nearly 100 years of “Training for Leadership” the 2010 Kappa Alpha Psi Undergraduate Leadership Institute (ULI) will be hosted in Cincinnati, Ohio. With corporate sponsorship from General Electric, the ULI is moving from its previous home in Atlanta GA. to the Mighty East Central Province .

The Undergraduate Leadership Institute was launched in 1996. It’s primaryfocus is on training its undergraduate members to dedicate themselves to community service through the core principles and objectives of the fraternity’s mission.

Since its launch in 1996, the Undergraduate Leadership Institute has been a highly structured and intense leadership experience designed to increase undergraduates’ capacity to lead in multiple contexts in the fraternity, on campus and in their communities. Essential to the conference’s success has been small group discussions, large group lectures and case study analysis, which provide a rich learning environment for Brothers to reframe and reinforce their approach to leadership. These special sessions are highlighted through invited speakers and panelists, who complement the Institute by reinforcing the curriculum with practical examples based on their extensive leadership experiences and knowledge.
