Greetings Brothers of the “Small but Mighty” East Central Province:
As the newly appointed Province Polemarch I wanted to take a moment to greet the Brothers of the ECP and share a few thoughts with you concerning where we are as a Province, what direction we should be going in, and what can we all do to help get us there.
Growing the Province Brother by Brother & chapter by chapter: Let’s work together to grow our Alumni Chapters. Lets be inclusive not exclusive in regards to reaching out to alumni Brothers. Let’s reach out to the young and old, east side west side, large university small college, and so on. Diversity in a chapter creates vitality and growth of thought and activities. Grand Chapter has intensified it’s efforts and focus on reclamation under the 31 administration of Grand Polemarch Dwayne M. Murray Esq. The Grand Chapter Reclamation Committee meets monthly to discuss ideas for reclaiming Brothers and to review and improve the Reclamation Awards Program that was started this past fraternal year. Lets all pull together to improve our reclamation efforts this fraternal year. If any Alumni Chapter is planning a reclamation event and would like me to attend please forward the date and time to me as soon as possible so that I can schedule to attend.
To my Collegiate Brothers: keep the interest up on your respective campuses and your grades higher! We also need to encourage legacy throughout the fraternity. Furthermore, I strongly advise my collegiate Brothers to resist the outside influences of men claiming to be Kappas but have no member number assigned by IHQ. Or Brothers who have not been a member in good standing for some time but tell you that you should listen to them rather than your advisor, Alumni Brothers, or this ECP administration.
To Brothers all of the East Central Province, I give you my word that this administration will be fiscally responsible and vigorously pursue alternative revenue streams for our various projects, Province Council, and Grand Chapter initiatives. We will also move forward with our Province Life Membership Program and our ECP Foundation. Furthermore, we will not lose sight of the organizational achievements made in the past administration but work to build upon them.
My Brothers, I want to thank all of the Brothers throughout the Province and the Fraternity as a whole who have stood by me, encouraged me, and offered their support then and going forward under my administration as Province Polemarch.
I am energized and ready to serve! I look forward to the challenges ahead, but I’m also looking forward to us not only working hard, but at the proper time and place to play hard and enjoy the fellowship of the Bond.
Yours in the Bond,
15th Polemarch East Central Province, Kappa Alpha. Psi Fraternity, Inc
