Brother Polemarch Branch has been awarded The Delta Zeta Foundation this past Friday, at the 3rd Annual Delta Zeta Foundation Reception during Central State Homecoming weekend. The award is presented to a Delta Zeta Brother that has persevered in the face of adversity, and overcome challenges personally, professionally, and or politically and still managed the fundamental purpose of Kappa Alpha Psi….ACHIEVEMENT.
Brother Branch was sent to CSU from Chicago by his late mother Sylvia, whom served as the Administrative Assistant to the Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. at Operation PUSH. A strategic thinker, Brother Branch received his degree from CSU majoring in Communications Radio/TV Broadcasting in 1987, after having entered the Bond on the Treacherous Ten Line on March 2, 1985. Brother Branch went on to receive additional training in Computer Information Systems and Network Security Management at Sinclair Community College. He currently is the Systems Analyst for the City of Dayton Department of Aviation.
His fraternal achievements have been strategic as well, having served as Vice Polemarch and Polemarch for the Dayton Alumni Chapter, where under his administration the chapter won the International “Reclamation” Award for small chapters at the Conclave in Washington DC in 2009. Currently, he is he Polemarch of the Wilberforce Alumni Chapter, where he is working with the University and Delta Zeta Advisor to bring undergraduate brothers back onto the campus after 4 years.
